Works as a liaison between the doctor and the patient. Sends in prescriptions, schedules tests per physician's orders, obtain pre-certs for scheduled procedures. Answers phone from patients regarding questions about their health condition/relates this to physician. Schedules appointments.Obtains procedure report/pathology reports (maintains/follows for physician)
