Six months ago, I found myself unemployed.  Needless to say, I felt helpless, panicked, and, for the first time since I can remember, worthless.  On a referral from a friend, I met with Jared from the Gateway Group, who immediately put me at ease.  He was compassionate and understanding to my plight.  He assured me that they would do everything they could to help me as quickly as possible, and  I can honestly say that he and his brother Garen,  made good on that statement.  The following week, I had an interview with my current employer, and started to work shortly thereafter.   I always assumed that “dreading work” was a part of the adult world, but I now know that it was just the places that I was working at.  Garen and Jered not only found a place that I welcomed with open arms, but they provided me with the tools to be successful in my current position.  I do not have the words to thank them enough for everything that they have done.  I can say that my life has been better because of them, and I will never forget their kindness.  They possess my highest appreciation and upmost respect.  I can only hope that I can return the favor in the future.
